Cowhide Cabin

About ten minutes north of the cabin is the Bear Creek ATV trail.  This public access trail is about 31 miles in length, mainly following the lake banks. Bear Creek is approximately the mid point of the trail which actually starts at the Daisy State Park , thru Kirby, Bear Creek on to the Laurel Creek Recreational Area.

     From what I have learned Bear Creek is the ideal starting place. The trail is better for beginners toward the South (toward Laurel Creek) while heading to Daisy is more rocky and steeper hills for the more challenging ride.
